August 12th is International Youth Day! This year, the United Nations theme is 'Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a World for All Ages' helping to amplify the message that action is needed across all generations to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals and ensure 'no one is left behind'.
At ASL Global, we believe that collaboration across the generations leads to a dynamic and successful workplace for us all. Since 2019 we have created an inclusive Work Experience programme that gives young people a chance to work with some of the world's biggest brands such as Coca-Cola, Heineken and L'Oreal.
The programme welcomes young people from all backgrounds and encourage them to engage in a wide variety of experiences which help to develop their skills and capabilities.
Operating across 50+ countries, ASL Global is ideally placed to offer these youngsters a fantastic opportunity to work with a variety of global consumer brands. In return, our young colleagues contribute fresh ideas, challenge norms and engage positively every day.
Despite Covid restrictions, since the new programme was implemented in 2020, ASL has welcomed Interns in the UK, Vietnam, Spain, Malaysia, Netherlands, Nigeria, France, Hong Kong and China - with more Internships planned for 2022/23.

This Internship Programme is part of ASL's wider Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiative.
