Back in February, we were delighted to welcome our two new Interns to the ASL family, joining our teams in Malaysia & The Netherlands. As they prepare to complete their journeys here at ASL, we caught up with Micha Bruinvels, to discover what he has learn't and what he will take away  from his personal experiences at ASL Global.


Micha Bruinvels, is 24 years old and lives in The Hague, Netherlands. He is currently studying industrial design engineering. Micha has been  carrying out his graduation research here at ASL. Micha has been working on creating a innovative new sustainable bar-range for one of our largest clients, Heineken.

Micha explained that throughout his time at ASL Global he has learned about, 'how the current market works on terms of circularity. What kind of innovations are happening with new sustainable materials. How to keep the production of products locally and what kind of parties you need to get involved in order to source locally produced product. How to communicate with a big brand has been a very broad concept, I have learned to tackle it one by one to develop a completely sustainable product, finally I have been involved in monthly meetings to see what the international team of  ASL Global is doing, it has been incredibly very inspiring.'

Throughout his time at ASL, Micha has developed three new sustainable items for the bar range. He is currently working along side the manufactures and Heineken in order to get production started.
