The South African Heineken Outsourcing Team was formed in 2021, when ASL's global outsourcing contract with Heineken went live in the region.

The team quickly expanded as the client partnership in this dynamic market went from  strength to strength. Despite ongoing COVID lock-downs and the country's government's ban on the sales of alcohol, Heineken's activity in South Africa has grown rapidly, with ASL's team alongside, providing support every step of the way.

Aneshree Rambally, Heineken Category Manager Commerce explained how the ASL team has supported Heineken during this busy time “We started out collaboration with ASL during a very challenging time, amidst the Covid-19 pandemic when demand was low and market prospects bleak. However, in the past year we have seen an upswing in the demand for merchandise material, with a greater need for premium and innovative merchandise solutions for all our brands"
