ASL Global is pleased to announce the renewal of its contract with Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail (PR GTR). Under this renewed agreement, ASL will continue to serve as the direct point of contact for all Pernod Ricard GTR business units for new product development, as well as production and distribution of Gift with Purchase and Value-Added Packaging.

Pernod Ricard GTR collaborates with ASL to develop and source luxury gifts with purchase (GWP) for its premium brands in travel retail outlets. Always with an eye towards innovation, quality, and efficiency, ASL developed a bespoke customer ordering portal for Pernod Ricard GTR at the outset of their initial contract in 2018. Since then, this innovative solution has streamlined the process and increased efficiency of Pernod Ricard GTR’s ordering system for their marketing teams worldwide.

Covid-19 changed the travel retail landscape like no one could have predicted. Between an uncertain economy and pandemic restrictions around the world, ASL was able to see this time as an opportunity to review and reengineer their product offering. During crisis, this partnership created a new sustainable luggage option with a significantly reduced carbon footprint and brought it in line with GTR’s Sustainable and Responsible guidelines.

The Procurement Category Manager of Pernod Ricard GTR, Stuart Swanson said the following about the contract extension: “We knew from early on that ASL would prove be a valuable procurement partner. Their expert guidance and support have helped us develop a more effective, sustainable, and engaging suite of gifting merchandise. It’s a natural step for us to continue to build this partnership.” He continued “Pernod Ricard GTR's goal is to grow the business further by taking advantage of the new momentum within the travel industry, fuelled by the post-pandemic demand. To achieve that goal, ASL is helping us to develop a deep unders­­­­tanding of consumer insights, in order to create innovative and sustainable marketing products.”
