Every day of the year we celebrate the passion and solidarity of volunteers, but a special day is set aside each year to acknowledge the positive impact of volunteers around the world. This year's International Volunteer Day (5th December), the United Nations Volunteers Programme celebrated with the theme of solidarity through volunteering.
ASL believes that if we act #TogetherWeMakeADifference. In 2022, our colleagues from 53+ countries took part in ASL's Volunteering Initiative, a program that gives ASL members paid time off to volunteer. ASL employees truly embody the company's values of energy and compassion!

As part of ONE WORLD initiative, we also run an annual global campaign, the ASL's BIG CLEAN UP. This year we have set our record and collected over 900 kilos of rubbish. As we act #TogetherWeAreStronger. We are proud that many of our teams have tirelessly come together and make a real difference in their community.
Emma Pomeroy, ASL's Chief Sustainability Officer, said "I couldn't be prouder of the ASL family around the world. We're lucky to have so many people who have embraced the One Day initiative and are willing to engage locally, giving their own time and efforts to help these communities flourish. It's so inspiring.
