Working on a brief from Coca-Cola for a brand new interactive promo item to support their FIFA 2018 global marketing activations, our design team came up with this great idea – the Selfie Cap! This innovative, patented product is designed to fit onto bottle-tops and transforms any bottle into a selfie stick.

The item was a great solution for Coke, who was looking for a fun item which encouraged shared experiences and had a digital element. ASL’s client services and product design teams worked closely together to develop a product which fitted the brief perfectly and was deliverable within the required budget. It was then offered as an exclusive, patented Coke product for FIFA 2018 and 7-Eleven stores worldwide.

Following an initial order from Coke Australia, we launched a global order window which proved very popular. In total over 550,000 Selfie Caps were ordered across multiple countries including Vietnam, China, USA, Malaysia and Australia.
