It was a ‘no shoes, no news’ setting for ASL’s annual senior management team strategy meeting in Thailand last week. 2018 has been a very busy year for ASL Global so far with rapid growth in all markets, fuelled by new business wins and the strategic development of existing client relationships.

Visiting the region for the recent trade fair shows in Hong Kong and China, ASL’s senior sales and operational leadership teams took the opportunity for some time together to review the company’s performance and look ahead to 2019.

Steve Ueckermann, ASL’s Managing Director, commented “It’s been an incredible year for ASL with strong growth in key markets across Europe and Asia. We’ve worked hard to develop a broader proposition and it’s exciting to see new and existing clients responding very positively to this development. They recognise that ASL now offers something unique; marketing procurement rooted in the experience, knowledge and infrastructure of our direct sourcing teams in Hong Kong, China and other global supply markets”.

He continued “We’re disrupting the marketplace with a fresh approach to outsourced marketing services and the results speak for themselves. Our product development teams in Europe and Asia mean that we’re not reliant on suppliers for new ideas and innovation, which also sets us apart from the competition. This planning session has been a great opportunity to review progress and agree our strategy for the year ahead. 2019 is set to be another busy year for ASL but the team is energised and ready for the challenge!”

The team moved on to China and Hong Kong from Thailand to attend the October Trade Fairs alongside our Merchandising Teams, on the hunt for new experiential products and ideas for next year.

With teams in 31 offices across six continents, ASL Global works with the world’s biggest consumer brands to deliver exceptional outsourced marketing services across 150+ markets worldwide.
