Despite the challenges presented by the Covid19 pandemic this year, ASL Global has continued to pursue its ambitious growth strategy through 2020. Part of this strategy is the appointment of Edward Bock to the role of ASL’s Chief Operating Officer.

Edward’s corporate career has spanned more than 18 years, during which he has held senior management positions in Asia for various USA and European MNC’s, both private and public listed. He is also experienced in M&A and managing private equity portfolio companies. Prior to that, Edward was Managing Director (China) for a USA Nasdaq-listed custom marketing print-on-demand online company, with revenues exceeding USD2.7 billion.

Before joining ASL, Edward held CPO and Managing Director positions for a leading premiums business, leading and transforming the procurement & supply chain operations for their global business needs.  He was also responsible for managing the APAC commercial development with key clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Kraft Heinz and Unilever.

Edward takes responsibility for ASL’s operations in Asia Pacific, including its sourcing teams based in Hong Kong, Shenzhen & Shanghai. ASL has an extensive footprint in APAC, having experienced strong growth in the region since 2018, both in China and across emerging markets such as Malaysia, Thailand, Pakistan, and India.
